Deck Building

When you join a game, you start by constructing your deck for the game. This involves going through your Hero Collection and choosing the cards that you want to use in the game. When you have finished making up your deck, 5 cards will be drawn from your deck to make up your hand. During the game, you can choose cards from your hand to deploy. When you have less than 5 cards in your hand, a new card will be drawn from your deck. You can have more than 5 cards in your hand if you buy new cards from the Tavern or draw additional cards from your deck during the game.

When building your deck, consider which cards will be the most useful for the map you are playing. Choose cards from your starting race and other races that you are likely to command during the game. Think about the strategy that you want to employ and make up your deck accordingly.
